Getting Started

TALP is a parallel profiler which is part of the `DLB <https://github.com/bsc-pm/dlb>`_ library.
Instead of reporting just timings, TALP is able to generate insightful :ref:`performance-metrics <metrics>` and report them to the user.

In this document, we provide an :ref:`installation guide <talp-installation>` to help you installing `DLB <https://github.com/bsc-pm/dlb>`_ on your machine,
as well as small :ref:`tutorial <tutorial-talp>` to guide you on how to use TALP to get a quick overview over the performance of your application.
